About the ECCO2 - MITgcm configuration

Here is the MITgcm configuration used: http://mitgcm.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/MITgcm_contrib/quarter_degree_global/

The NCEP forcing may be find here: http://ecco2.org/products/model_setups/ncep_rgau/

A summary of the simulations performed may be find here: http://ecco2.org/products/output/latlon/

Then, the available outputs are here: http://ecco2.org/products/output/latlon/output.html

Particularly, 6 hourly and monthly averages list are here: http://ecco2.org/products/output/latlon/exp_lle_nb.txt

Binaries available at MIT

lat-lon grid 1/8 deg simulation

Here is a recap of which outputs are available locally at MIT as binary files for the configuration:

2000-2005 integration,

1/8-deg horizontal grid spacing,

50 vertical levels,

forced by NCEP reanalysis-1 surface atmospheric state and bulk formulae,

surface relaxation to montly Levitus SSS with a relaxation time constant of 44.5 days,

with full dynamic thermodynamic sea-ice model,

Keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive, I only considered what was involved in my Postdoc project.

CS510 simulations

Here is a recap of which outputs are available locally at MIT as binary files for the configuration: cs510 (check here for further informations)

Netcdf processed at MIT

Part of netcdf files are available online here and may be browsed through here.

lat-lon grid 1/8deg simulation

Here is a recap of which outputs have been translated in netcdf format and which diagnostics (Italic) have been performed on them:

"ALL" files mean:

-> outputs: THETA,SALTanom,TFLUX,SFLUX,TAUX,TAUY,UVEL,VVEL,KPPmld

and

-> PV related diagnostics: SIGMATHETA,RHO,ZETA,OMEGAX,OMEGAY,PV,splPV,EKL,JFz,JBz

A file name description may be found here.

CS510 cube49 simulation

"ALL" files mean:

-> outputs: THETA,SALTanom,TFLUX,SFLUX,TAUX,TAUY,UVEL,VVEL,KPPmld
